If you’re not using the cloud music library and want to save on data usage, you can turn it off. Here’s how:

Open the Google Play Music app .

Tap the menu icon and select Settings .

Tap on the Google Play Music account you want to adjust .

Under "Cloud Music Library" , uncheck the box next to " Sync songs to this device " .

You can also choose to " Delete local copies of synchronized songs " if you want to free up some storage space.

Tap Save .
