There may be a time when you want to change the sound of your Ring doorbell. Maybe you’re not happy with the default sound, or you want to make it sound more like your regular doorbell. Whatever the reason, it’s not difficult to change the sound of your Ring doorbell.

First, open the Ring app on your phone and tap the three lines in the top left corner. Then, select "Settings" and "Ringtone." You’ll see a list of all the available ringtones. Scroll through the list until you find one you like, then tap it to select it.

If you want to use a custom sound, there are a few things you need to do first. First, you’ll need to create a sound file that’s in the .mp3 or .m4a format. Then, you’ll need to upload it to a cloud storage service like Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, or OneDrive. Finally, you’ll need to enter the URL for the sound file into the Ring app.

To enter the URL for the sound file, open the Ring app and tap the three lines in the top left corner. Then, select "Settings" and "Ringtone." Under "Custom Sounds," tap "Add New." You’ll see a web address field. Enter the URL for the sound file, and tap "Done."

Your Ring doorbell will now play the sound you selected.
