Slack is a messaging app that lets teams communicate and collaborate easily and quickly. While it’s great for getting work done, the notifications and sounds it makes can be a bit overwhelming. Here’s how to mute Slack’s sounds so you can focus on your work.

To mute Slack’s sounds on desktop, click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the app and select ‘Settings.’ Under the ‘Notifications’ tab, find the ‘Sounds’ section and toggle the mute button to the ‘On’ position.

To mute Slack’s sounds on iOS, open the app and tap on the ‘Settings’ gear icon in the top right corner. Scroll down and tap on ‘Notifications.’ In the ‘Sounds’ section, toggle the mute button to the ‘On’ position.

To mute Slack’s sounds on Android, open the app and tap on the three lines in the top left corner to open the menu. Tap on ‘Settings’ and then tap on ‘Notifications.’ In the ‘Sounds’ section, toggle the mute button to the ‘On’ position.

Now you can focus on your work without the distraction of Slack’s sounds!
