Reading Time: < 1 minutesApple Music is one of the most popular music streaming services in the world. With its ever-growing library of songs and playlists, as well as exclusive content, it’s no wonder that people are flocking to Apple Music. If you’re an Apple Music subscriber, you may be wondering how to play Apple Music on your Amazon Echo.
Playing Apple Music on your Echo is actually really easy. First, open the Amazon Alexa app on your phone. Then, tap the menu bar in the top left corner of the screen and select "Settings." Next, scroll down and select "Music & Media." Finally, toggle the "Apple Music" switch to the on position.
Now, when you ask your Echo to play music, it will play songs from Apple Music. You can also ask Echo to play specific Apple Music playlists or albums. Just be sure to ask Echo to play them by name, rather than by title. For example, you would say "Alexa, play my Chill playlist," rather than "Alexa, play the song ‘Chill’ by JP Saxe."
If you’re an Apple Music subscriber, be sure to enable the "Apple Music" switch in the "Music & Media" section of the Amazon Alexa app to start streaming your favorite songs on your Echo.
