Discord is a chat app with a following of millions of users. You can use it to communicate with friends, co-workers, or gaming buddies. But did you know that you can also use Discord to play music?

Yes, it’s true! Discord has a built-in music player that you can use to play your favorite songs and albums. In this article, we’ll show you how to use Discord to play music. We’ll also show you how to control the music player using Discord’s built-in commands.

How to Play Music on Discord

There are two ways to play music on Discord:

1. Use the built-in music player

2. Use a third-party music player

We’ll show you how to use both methods.

Using the Built-in Music Player

To use the built-in music player, simply open the Discord app and navigate to the channel or server where you want to play music.

Once you’re in the right channel or server, click on the + button and select “Add a Bot”.

A list of bots will appear. Scroll down and select the “Music” bot.

This will add the Music bot to your channel or server.

Now, you can play music by simply typing the following command:

!play

For example, if you want to play the song “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion, you would type the following command:

!play my heart will go on

The song will start playing immediately.

To control the music player, use the following commands:

!pause

!play

!skip

!rewind

!fastforward

!volume

For example, if you want to pause the song, you would type the following command:

If you want to play the song from the beginning, you would type the following command:

The next song will start playing.

The song will start playing from the beginning, but will rewind to the beginning of the current song.

If you want to fastforward the song, you would type the following command:

!fastforward

The song will start playing from the beginning, but will fastforward to the end of the current song.

If you want to change the volume of the music, you would type the following command:

!volume

The volume will be changed immediately.

Using a Third-Party Music Player

If you want to use a third-party music player, such as Spotify, Apple Music, or Google Play Music, you can do so by using the Discord app’s “connect” feature.

To use the connect feature, open the Discord app and navigate to the channel or server where you want to play music.

Once you’re in the right channel or server, click on the + button and select “Connect”.

A list of connected apps will appear. Scroll down and select the app that you want to use.
