Since Instagram launched in 2010, users have been able to post photos and videos to the app. In June 2013, Instagram added the ability to add music to videos, and in November 2014, they added the ability to add music to posts.

Adding music to posts is a great way to add some personality to your account and to make your posts more engaging. In this article, we’ll show you how to add music to your Instagram posts.

First, open the Instagram app and select the photo or video you want to add music to.

Once you’ve selected the photo or video, tap the "icon with three lines" in the bottom right corner of the screen to open the menu.

Tap "Edit" and then select the "Music" option.

You’ll now see a list of all the songs on your device. Tap the song you want to use and then tap "Next."

You’ll now see a preview of your post with the music added. Tap "Next" and then "Share."

Your post will now be published with the music added.
