Apple’s iCloud Music Library is a convenient way to keep your music collection up-to-date across all of your devices. However, there may be times when you want to disable iCloud Music Library on iTunes. Maybe you’re having trouble with iCloud syncing, or you just don’t want to use iCloud Music Library for some reason.

No matter the reason, here’s how to turn off iCloud Music Library on iTunes:

Open iTunes and go to the Preferences menu.

Click on the iCloud tab and uncheck the iCloud Music Library box.

Click on the Close button and iCloud Music Library will be disabled.

You can also disable iCloud Music Library by going to the Music app on your iOS device and tapping on the iCloud Music Library switch at the bottom of the screen.

That’s all there is to it! iCloud Music Library is now disabled on iTunes and your devices.
