The good news is that it’s pretty easy to disable music autoplay on your iPhone. All you need to do is open the Settings app and navigate to the Music section. From there, you’ll want to toggle the Autoplay switch to the Off position.
With autoplay disabled, your iPhone will no longer start playing music automatically when you open the Music app or when it’s connected to a Bluetooth or CarPlay audio device. If you want to listen to music on your iPhone, you’ll need to start playback manually.
Alternatively, you can use the Control Center to start music playback. Just swipe up from the bottom of the screen and tap the music controls.
If you decide you want to turn autoplay back on, just follow the same steps and toggle the switch to the On position.
