Do you ever find yourself annoyed by the sound notifications Outlook makes when new messages arrive? If so, you’re not alone. Fortunately, it’s easy to turn these notifications off. In this article, we’ll show you how.

First, open Outlook and click the File tab.

Next, click Options.

Now, click the Preferences tab and scroll down to the mail section.

Under the When new messages arrive section, uncheck the Play a sound box.

Click OK and you’re done.

now you’ll no longer hear a sound when new messages arrive in Outlook.
