Do you find the sound notifications on Facebook are too loud or intrusive? Here’s how to turn them off.

First, open Facebook and click on the down arrow in the top right corner of the screen.

Select "Settings" from the drop-down menu.

Click on "Notifications" in the left-hand column.

Under "Sound," uncheck the box next to "Play a sound when each new notification is received."

Click "Close" and you’re done!
