First, make sure your TV is turned on and that the volume is up.
If you’re using a cable or satellite box, make sure that’s turned on and that the volume is up.
If you’re using a Roku remote, make sure that the batteries are fresh.
If you’re still having trouble, try the following:
1. Check the audio output settings on your Roku TV.
To do this, press the Home button on your Roku remote and select Settings > System > Audio output.
Make sure your TV is set to the correct input.
Make sure your TV’s volume is up.
Make sure the mute button is not pressed.
2. Check the audio output settings on your cable or satellite box.
To do this, press the Menu button on your cable or satellite box remote and select Settings > Audio.
Make sure the TV speakers are turned on.
Make sure the volume is up.
3. Check the audio settings on your home theater receiver.
To do this, press the Menu button on your home theater receiver remote and select Settings > Audio.
Make sure the TV speakers are turned on.
Make sure the volume is up.
4. Try a different HDMI cable.
